ARIMASPIANS STONE - (GRIFFIN & UNICORN)

Another complex piece for the “Fables” range which consisted of 2 mythological creatures.  This piece was limited to 2950 and I sculpted it in 1999.

The Griffin has flown down and snatched the Arimaspians Stone from around the Unicorn’s neck.  The stone has mythical powers and the Griffin will use it with bad intentions.

This was the second time I had sculpted a Griffin for “Fables”, the piece sold out in 2000.
