Natures Sports -The Fisherman

The pelican is ready to catch another tasty fish.  This piece was from the “Nature Sports” range (a range I produced for Holland Studio Craft in 1991 of sporting animals i.e. a rhino rugby player, penquin skier – 7 pieces altogether).

I am proud of these pieces because they were part of my first range that I designed myself and then sculpted.  The pelican is my favourite bird that I have portrayed many times in different types of form.
